About This Work
Likkutei Sichos (Gathered Talks) is the magnum opus of the Lubavitcher Rebbe — 39 volumes of edited and annotated talks on the weekly Torah portion, Jewish holidays, and special occasions.
Originally delivered as farbrengen talks, they were subsequently edited by the Rebbe himself and are considered the definitive statement of his Torah thought. Each sicha weaves together Talmud, Midrash, Rashi, Nachmanides, halachic sources, and Chassidic philosophy into unified insights.
The Rebbe used this work to resolve classic questions in Rashi’s commentary, explain apparent contradictions in the Torah, and illuminate the inner dimensions of the weekly portion.
